How will you say that white light of the sun is made
of seven colours?
(Ans) When a ray of white light of the sun is passed
through a glass prism, it is dispersed into its seven colour components i.e.
violet, indigo, blue, green, yellow, orange and red (VIBGYOR) Different colours
of light bend through different angles with respect to the incident ray, as
they pass through the prism. Hence, white light is composed of seven colours.
The violet colour bends most while the red colour bends the least.
