      the two in front of HCl indicates dat dis equation is balanced...

First make 3 coloumns said number of element;number of reactants and number of product...now in the 1st coloumn write all the symbols one by one ;each at the bottom ..now on 2nd coloumn write each ones valency of the reactants..repeat the same step in the 3rd coloumn..now balance it one by one
